Our regular schedule is based on a 5 activity period  day. Each camper has a period of Red Cross instructional swim (except for 13-16 year olds), team sports athletics, recreational swim, and 2 hobby (elective) choices.

Hobbies are chosen from a list of 30 different activities, twice each day. All campers have individual preferences. Our system allows  them to pursue these interests. Some campers choose creative activities (drama, crafts, ceramics, dance), some choose more physical pursuits (golf, tennis, soccer, outdoor life, basketball), and others choose aquatic hobbies (lake, aqua planning). The activity schedule design does not permit children to choose the same activitiy twice per day. It does, however, allow them to take weather into consideration upon choosing. On hot days, the lake is very popular and conversely on chillier days activities such as soccer and the adventure course are often selected. This elective system of choosing activities at the time has been extremely successful.
The regular schedule is run for approximately half the camp days, while the other days are occupied with special events (carnival, water day, apache relay), out of camp trips, and color war.
