Is there a staff uniform?
Camp Nock-A-Mixon does not have a uniform for campers or counselors. You are able to wear your own clothes. The camp provides you with a staff shirt to wear on out-of-camp trips, free of charge.
What is the drug and alcohol policy?
As a counselor, you are not able to keep campers safe and happy nor can you be a proper role model while under the influence. Therefore the use of drugs and alcohol is strictly forbidden. We conduct random drug tests and breathalyzers over the course of the summer.
How much do I get paid?
Salaries range depending on your age, year in school, and experience. Don’t forget, once you get to camp, you won’t have any expenses. Room, board, meals, and laundry service are all included as part of camp.
